DAYTON Dr. Bob Wayne Brackney, 82, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Manor House Assisted Living, Red Bank.He was a resident of Rhea County for the past 10 years moving here from Fort Worth, Texas after retiring from Southwestern Theological Seminary where he was a professor of Christian social work for 20 years. He was a member of Dayton First Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by parents, R.T. and Ruby E. Meeks Brackney; brother, Henry Alton Brackney.Survivors include wife of 63 years, Jo Alice (Dick) Brackney, of Dayton; three children, Deborah (Ray) Talley, of Dayton, Patricia (Ron) Van Treuren, of Goshen, Ky., and Tim D. (Donna) Brackney, of Savannah, Ga.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Manorhouse Assisted Living, the Pavillion, for its care and concern of our loved ones during his long battle with Alzheimers.In lieu of flowers, memorials to Jemez Valley Baptist Church Fund, P.O.
