ROSSVILLE Dr. William Curtis Smith, 58, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at his residence.He was born in McKenzie, Tennessee, and was a member of Metropolitan Tabernacle. Dr. Smith was a 1976 graduate of UT Martin and a 1980 graduate of UT Health Science Center. Dr. Smith was a fellow of AAFP and TCFPA partner for 29 years.He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. T. H. Smith.Survivors are his loving wife of 32 years, Dottie; sons, Chuck and John, both of Chattanooga; mother, Marian Newberry Smith; brother, Dr. Thomas K. Smith, McKenzie, Tenn.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Ball officiating.Entombment in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway.Active pallbearers will be Thomas McEntyre, Tyler Howell, Aaron McCroskey, Dr. Mike Dant, Dr. Mark Smith and Dr. Hunter Jennings.
