Hattie Bomar

Hattie Anita Bomar, 57, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at her residence in Knoxville.She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Twitty Sr. and Elnora Twitty; brothers, Reginald Twitty and Calvin Twitty Jr. Survivors include her husband, James Bomar; sons, Tommy (Consuela) Ramsey and Terry (Lakisha) Thorne, both of Chattanooga; daughters, Elnora (Eric) Jones, of Richmond Hill, Ga., and Renita Thorne, of Chattanooga; sixteen grandchildren; brothers, Felix Twitty, Thaddeous (Sylvia) Twitty, both of Murfreesboro and Ethan Twitty, of Chattanooga; sisters, Deborah (Charles) Simpson, of Murfreesboro, Shomona Twitty, of Woodbridge, Va., and Tonya Twitty, of Chattanooga; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state on Sunday after 9:30 a.m. with the service to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with James Jones as the eulogist.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
