Fay Wilson

DUNLAP Charles Fay Wilson, 88, of Daus community near Dunlap, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at NHC Healthcare Dunlap after a brief illness.Mr. Wilson was an Episcopalian and member of the Christ Church of South Pittsburg, Tenn. He retired from Sequatchie County High School after teaching 39 years. He was a graduate of Sequatchie County High School, University of Chattanooga, and Duke University. He served as a directory of Sequatchie County Bank, now Mountain Valley Bank, for over 50 years.Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Caswell and Hallie Madonna Davidson Wilson; sister Katherine Wilson Britt Brown; nephew, Donald Wilson Britt; great-niece, Patricia Britt Chastain; great-nephew, Jonathon Trevor Brown.Survivors include; niece, Jane Britt Brown; great-nephew, Stephen Lyle Drift; great-nephew, James Spencer Brown; great-niece, Marilyn Elizabeth Brown; and great-nephew-in law, Jason E. Chastain.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CST Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, in Ewton Funeral Home chapel with Father Mark Scholz officiating. A eulogy will be given by Wendell Spicer and Lynn Johnson.Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers; Charles Green, Paul van Boekhout, Ardell Johnson, Raymond Farley, Jeff Johnson and Randy Allen.
