Walter Hahn

RINGGOLD Walter "Wally" Hahn, 80, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012.He was a native of Chicago, Ill., but lived most of his life in Racine, Wis. He had lived in Doyle, Tenn., for 20 years until moving to Ringgold for the last 5 years. He retired from the Racine Police Department in 1988 with over 25 years of service. He was an avid golfer and his passion in life was his family.He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Hahn; mother, Ruth Hahn; father, George Hahn; step-mother, Alice Hahn; sister, Marilyn Carlson; and brother, George Hahn.Survivors include his wife, Sara Hahn, of Ringgold; children, Sheryl (James) Bertermann, Stephen (Seline) Hahn and Kurt Hahn, all of Racine, WI; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.comGraveside services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m. at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with the Rev.
