Helen Fritts Young, 95, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, in the afternoon after a lingering illness. She was a lifelong member of Union Fork Baptist Church and the last member of the Friendly Class.She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd "Cotton" Young; son, Billy Gene Young; and one grandson.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry D. and Judy B. Young, of Soddy-Daisy; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
