Lila Poole

HIGH POINT, N.C. Lila Ruth Edgmon Fleenor Poole, 88, departed this life on Dec. 10, 2012, in Palm Coast, Fla.She was a native of North Georgia, but had been a resident of High Point, N.C., for the past 41 years. She was a devoted member of High Point Seventh-day Adventist Church. She attended Southern Missionary College (now known as Southern Adventist University) and had served as a missionary in South America and Mexico.She is survived by: her husband, Herman Poole; three stepchildren, Tim, Cynthia and Vicki; her daughters, Joyce and Nancy; son-in-law, Bloyce; three grandchildren, Denyse, Mark, Christi; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Dot) Fuller and Mrs. Bob (Thelma) Skeggs; and two brothers, Grover Edgmon and Deward Edgmon.She was preceded in death by her sister, Eunice Jenkins; and her brothers, John Edgmon and Warren Edgmon.Lila is resting peacefully in Ringgold, Ga., next to her parents.Please share your memories at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
