CHICKAMAUGA Claudia Henderson Brown, 96, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. She was born in Blanche, Ala., to the late Veldora Dayton and Ovie Isobel McRae Henderson. She was a resident of Chickamauga, Ga., for over 60 years and had resided with her daughter in Conyers, Ga., for the past several years. She had worked for Trion Cotton Mills and Crystal Springs Mill in Chickamauga, Ga. She was a longtime member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Chickamauga, Ga., where she was the librarian and took care of the nursery for thirty four years.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Thomas Arvil Brown; daughter, Nancy Maxine Waters; sisters, Kathleen Baggett, Wilma Parker, Edith Henderson; brothers, Clifford Henderson, Robert L. Henderson.She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law. Anita and Harold Christian, of Conyers, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Katherine Brown. of Marietta, Ga.; sister, Ruth Brannon, of Centre, Ala.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today and Saturday morning until the service.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev.
