Larry Cooper

WHITWELL Larry "Doug" Cooper, 63, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012.He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ida Cooper; brother, Samuel Cooper, Alvin Cooper; sister, Emaline Roberts.He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Mary Ann Cooper; son, Avery (Angie) Cooper, of Jasper; one grandchild, Eva Cooper; sisters, Shirley Coffman, of Stevenson, Joyce Housley, of South Pittsburg, Jo Carlock, of Florida; brothers, Melvin Cooper, of Colorado, Homer Cooper, of South Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends 10 a.m-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, in the funeral home chapel.Military Honors will be provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.Arrangements are by Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home 423-658-7777.
