Paul Herman Vandergriff Sr., 94, of Hixson, passed away Monday, Feb. 6, 2012.He was a Veteran of the United States Army, and Air Force.He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward F. and India Hamill Vandergriff; one brother and three sisters. Paul is survived by sons, Larry J. Vandergriff, Paul H. Vandergriff Jr.; and daughter, Judy Gay Harper; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. today, Feb. 11, 2012, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral home with Rev. Terry Shannon officiating.
