Violet Davis

ROSSVILLE Violet Davis, 104, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, in a local hospital.She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and a member of Lakeview First Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis retired from the LaDean Shop after several years as a seamstress.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Davis; and sons, Paul, Gene and Neal Davis; and by seven brothers and sisters.Survivors are daughter, Edwina Dunn, Fort Oglethorpe; grandchildren, Terry Davis, Candy Morris, Beth Hess, Lori Showalter, Tammy Davis, Donna Sells, Paul Davis and Jennifer Hendrix; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
