Albert Weaver

Albert Lee Weaver, 71, beloved father, brother, and friend, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, from Multiple Myeloma. Parents, now deceased, were Mark and Kathleen Weaver. Albert was a 1958 graduate of Maryville High School, and earned degrees from UT Knoxville and New England Conservatory in Boston. He played French Horn with the Boston Pops Orchestra and travelled with Goldovsky Opera. He performed with the symphonies and taught band and Horn for public schools in Knoxville, Kingsport and Chattanooga. In a second career, he created computer accounting systems and websites.Albert married Carole Wilson in 1970. She brought five-year-old Leigh Anne to their marriage and In 1977 they had a son, Anthony. In failing health by the 2000s, Albert lived with his sister, Ellen Topping In Seminole, Fla., then with his son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Heather Weaver, in Hixson; and then with his sister, Linda Weaver, in Alcoa.Other survivors are daughter, Leigh Anne Phillips of Hixson; two granddaughters; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter; four nephews; one niece; two grandnephews; and one grandniece.
