Rush Woodside Jr.RINGGOLD Harvey Rush Woodside Jr., 71, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, surrounded by his family.Rush had been a resident of Ringgold since 1988 and was of the Baptist faith. Rush was employed by the Federal Reserve for over 20 years as a Bank Examiner before retiring from Daily Citizens News in 1995. He enjoyed reading, fishing and crafting for Christ through Chattanooga Baptist Association.Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Rush and Elizabeth Bolton Woodside Sr.He is survived by his wife, of 22 years, Loretta Woodside; children, Michael Bolton (Lisa) Woodside, of Atlanta, Samuel Jackson (Cindy) Woodside, of South Carolina, Elizabeth Celeste Greenwood, of Atlanta, Dewayne (Lisa) Johnson, of Ringgold, Charles L. (Anita) Griffin, of Chickamauga and Douglas (Becky) Griffin, of Rossville; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, in the funeral home chapel with Brother David Myers and Brother Denny Manning.Interment will follow in Anderson Memorial Cemetery.The family will receive friends after 2 p.m. today and prior to the service on Friday.Arrangements by W.L.
