Horace Pratt

Horace Allen Pratt, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012.He was born June 25, 1925 in Knoxville. Mr. Pratt was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church for 56 years where he taught the Friendship Bible Class for 53 years and served as deacon of the church. He was a hardware salesman for C. M. McClung, Orgle Brothers and retired from General Hardware in 1990.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Reba Pratt; son, Gary (Ginny) Pratt, of Wilmington, N.C.; two grandsons, Shane Lee and Kevin Lee; sister, Neva Ellen (David) Miller, of Clinton, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Brenda Edmondson; four nephews; and two nieces.He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Pratt; mother, Rosa Edmondson; stepfather, Edd Edmondson; brother, James Edmondson; sister, Louise Daily; and niece, Deloris White.Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev.
