L S Jordan, 84, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at a local hospital.He was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Marie Jordan.Survivors include his wife, Mattie Jordan; sons, Ellis, Gregory and Jeffrey Jordan; daughters, Pamela and Angela Jordan, all of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Walter Jordan Jr., of Chicago, Ill., William (Etta) Jordan, of Huntsville, Ala., Sam (Lorrine) Jordan, of Fayetteville, Tenn.; two sisters, Marie Gardner and Dorthey (Willie) Gardner, of Huntsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ezra Maize officiating.Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
