Maxine Evans

Maxine Gale Evans, of Ooltewah, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at her home. A graduate of Fort Myers High School, she was the Valedictorian of her graduating class and was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late, Floyd and Lorean Evans and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Evans.Survivors include her companion, Dan Blair; three sisters, Joyce Belcher and Phyllis McKee, both of Ooltewah and Regina Rhodes, Bonita Springs, Fla.; three brothers, Tad Evans, Douglasville, Ga., Tommy Evans, Cleveland and her twin brother, Dale Evans, Ooltewah; several nieces and nephews.Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Ooltewah Cemetery with Brother Ricky Kesley officiating.There will be no visitation at the funeral home.Please share your memories at ChattanoogaValleyViewChapel.comArrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
