SOUTH PITTSBURG Louise Smith Beene, 86, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012.She was a member of Kimball Baptist Church for 54 years and a member of The Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, James Vince Beene Sr.; parents, Linzy and Velma Smith, of Jasper, Tenn.; brother, Harold Smith, of El Centro, Calif., J.L. Smith, of Dunlap, Tenn., and Elbert Smith, of Jasper, Tenn.She is survived by her sons, James V. (Kim), of Whitwell, Tenn., Johnny H. (Nancy), of Soddy-Daisy, Ronald D. (Cheryl), of Chatsworth, Ga., and Donald K. (Nona) of Red Bank; daughter, Constance E. (Scott) Whited, of Scottsboro, Ala.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews; sisters, Shirley Mirenda, of Madison, Tenn., Beverly (Craig) Hampton, of Jasper, Tenn.; and brother, Gary (Jennifer) Smith, of Sale Creek, Tenn.Funeral services will be held at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at noon CST on Friday, March 2, 2012, officiated by Rev.
