LaFAYETTE Billy Hathorn, 82, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Myrtle Hathorn; sons, William "Billy" Hathorn, Jerry Hathorn; sisters, Jackie Hopkins, Dot Wallis, Diane McGill; brothers Maynard Hathorn, Jerry Hathorn. Survived by his wife, Judy Trammell Hathorn, LaFayette; daughters, Gail Foster, LaFayette, Donna Whitaker, Martha McWilliams, Summerville; sons, Billy, Jesse, Michael, Dennis Hathorn; sisters, Barbara Whiteside, Thelma Clark, Flossie, all of LaFayette; brother, Charlie Hathorn, Rock Spring; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.Graveside service 2 p.m. today in LaFayette Memory Garden. Service conducted by Minister Terry Pettyjohn.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 1:45 p.m. today.Interment in LaFayette Memory Garden.The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home of LaFayette.
