Mary Meroney

Mary Louise Kelly "Weezie" Meroney, 92, of East Ridge, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, with her sister by her side.A native of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Meroney was a member of South Seminole Baptist Church and was a true believer in her faith and God. She was a Gold Star Mother, and was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Lillie Kelly; husband, SSGT Hubert Meroney; son, Jerry Meroney; nephews, Bud Meroney, James and Clarence Greer; and niece, Betty Greer Miller.Survivors include her loving sister, Wilma Kelly Greer; nieces, Peggy Greer Talley, Billy Greer Friddell and Martha Greer; nephew, Earl (Rose) Greer; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, in the South Crest Chapel with Rev.
