PALMER Rose E. King, 75, passed away on Wednesday Jan. 18, 2012.She attended Sweeton Hill Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar King; husband, Ernest King; sister, Margie Layne.She is survived by her sons, Ernest Jr. and David King; daughters, Gwendolyn Britton, Margaret (Henry) Williams, Carolyn (Doug) Hargis, Melissa King and Rhonda (Terry) Hutson; sister, Betty Doss; aunt, Katherine Doss; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Mike Rigsby and John Potts officiating with burial to follow in Fall Creek Cemetery.Online condolences at laynefuneralhome.com.Visitation after 9 a.m. today at Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, Tenn.
