William Walker

Jr.William Leon Walker Jr., 59, of Hixson, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at his home.He was a member of Primitive Church of God, and he retired from Hammonds Truck Line. He was a U.S. Army and U.S. Marine veteran.He was preceded in death by his parents, William L. Walker Sr. and Bessie Walker.He is survived by his sons, Jacob Leon Walker and Jonathan "Andrew" Walker; daughters, Cassie Wolfe and Paula Walker; brother, Michael John Walker; sisters, Jeweletta Guffey, Judy Cooper and Evelyn Sweet; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Russell Erwin officiating.Interment will follow in East Soddy Community Cemetery.Family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
