Geneva Chance

DALTON Geneva Thomas Chance, 85, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at Hamilton Medical Center.She was the daughter of the late Neal and Jane Patton Thomas and was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Hannah and a brother, Grady Thomas.She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and great-great-great-grandmother.Geneva is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, J.B. Chance, of Dalton; children and spouses, Sue and Vernon Floyd and Mike and Pam Chance, all of Dalton and Brenda and David Creekmore, of Rocky Face; brothers, Richard Thomas, of Dalton and Larry Thomas, of Chatsworth; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren also survive.Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Welcome Hill Baptist Church with the Rev.
