David Mays

Jr.Joseph David Mays Jr., 68, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012.He was a member of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church and was retired from the city of East Ridge as city finance director/City Manager.Survivors include his wife, Patty Boren Mays; three sons, Jody (Wanda) Mays, of Ooltewah, Jon (Kristin) Mays, of Chattanooga and Ken (Betsy) Mays, of Maryville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Julie Mays, Alex Mays and Erin Mays; one brother, Donald (Sue) Mays, of Dunlap, Tenn.; one sister, Martha Watts of Ringgold, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Steele officiating.Entombment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South mausoleum.The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. today at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S.
