RINGGOLD Barbara Christian Potts Cobble, 77, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at her residence.She was the daughter of the late Roy and Clara Christian. Barbara was a member of Rock Spring United Methodist Church. She was member of the Good Sams Club, an avid Braves fan, very competitive in life, loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.She was preceded in death by her husbands, J. Robert Potts and James "Jake" Cobble; siblings, R.W. Christian Jr., Ross Christian, Lamar Christian, Don Christian, Earl Christian, Franklin Christian and Freida Buchanan.Survivors include her children, Deborah (Jerry) Moore, Ringgold, Renee (Kelly) Hill, Ringgold, Randy (Cynthia) Potts, Dalton, Ga., and Rodney (Shelly) Potts, Jasper, Tenn.; grandchildren, Josh Moore, Jessica Potts, Abby Hill, Justin Potts, Brandon Potts, Noah Hill and Brett Potts; great-grandson, Mason Dougherty; siblings, Evie Steinmann, Connie Bird, Herbert Christian, Mae Vielhauer, John Christian, Helen Stephenson and Harold Christian.Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, at Rock Spring United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Peele officiating.Interment will follow in Rock Spring Cemetery with Jerry Moore, Kelly Hill, Josh Moore, Brandon Potts, Noah Hill, Brett Potts and Justin Potts serving as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Rock Spring United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O.
