Jr.Charles Williams, Jr., of Chattanooga departed this life Thursday, July 19, 2012.Mr. Williams was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and retired after 22 years of service for his country.He was preceded in death by his parents, Prances Williams O'Hara and Charles Williams.Survivors include his sister, Linda (Randy) Stargin; former wife and mother of his children, Eleanor Williams; daughters, Lynda Perez, Shantelle Santovena, Melinda M. Perez, all of Colorado; son, Romell Edwards, Georgia; six grandchildren; niece, Nicole Stargin; nephew, Randy Stargin Jr.; and a host of other family and friends.Funeral services will held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, in the Trammell Chapel with Rev. Clarence Scruggs officiating.Burial will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Trammell Chapel, Hardwick & Sons Funeral Home.
