ROSSVILLE Dale J. Payne, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012.He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and had retired from Astec Industries after 20 years of service. His passions in life were spending time with his family and mowing the yard.He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Payne; parents, Idas C. and Mildred Payne; and brothers, Burl and Clifford Payne.Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Martha Payne; daughter, Dianne (Alan) Hearn; two grandchildren, Natalie Smith and Alana Hearn, all of Panama City, Fla., son, Jeff (Cindy) Payne, Rossville; two brothers, Carlton Payne, Oak Hill, Fla., and Vurban Payne, Rome, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 27, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev.
