Samuel King

Samuel King, 65, of Chattanooga, passed peacefully at home Monday, July 23, 2012, surrounded by his family. Samuel was a tile setter for all his life. He loved the Lord and his family. He was a loving father, husband and a generous person who touched many lives with silent acts of kindness.Samuel was preceded in death by his daughter, Shannon D. King; mother, Ola Mae King; and father, John V. King.Samuel is survived by his wife, Natalie King; daughters, Michelle King and Sara King; grandson, John King, whom adored his "Papa Bear"; sister, Johnnie Tate; several nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, with Rev. Jerry Merciers officiating.The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace, 423-877-3524.
