Juanita Brock

LaFAYETTE Juanita Brock, 84, died peacefully in her home on Thursday, July 26, 2012.Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Wayne Brock.She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Jimmy) Stancil, of Clearwater, Fla.; and son, Denny (Diane) Brock, of LaFayette, Ga.. She is also survived by granchildren, Deanna Brock, of Athens, Ga., and David Brock, of LaFayette, Ga.; and sister, Nina Butler, of Chattanooga.The family thanks special caregivers for their loving care; Ashley Dixon, Kat Galloway, Rosalind Mosley and Angie Patton.A graveside service will be held at 7 p.m. today with Dr. Todd Gaddis officiating at LaFayette Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Music Program, LaFayette First Baptist Church, 201 North Main St., LaFayette, GA 30728.
