Howard Hyatte

Howard Lewis Hyatte, 77, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at his son's residence.He was retired from Wheland Foundry and was a member of Stoney Point Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Blevin and Muriel Hyatte Sr. and first wife, Joyce A. Hyatte; brother, Marvin Hyatte; sister, Doris Bryant. Survivors: wife, Sally Hyatte; son, Theodore (Ericka) Hyatte, of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Regina Shropshire, of Soddy-Daisy and Tina Burks, of Hixson; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Blevin (Mary) Hyatte Jr., of Soddy-Daisy and Darrel Hyatte, of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Mary (Dolphus) Phillips, Vivian (Jesse) Montgomery, Sylvia Reid and Ruth Hogue, all of Chattanooga; aunt, Mary "Mae" Cowan, of Soddy-Daisy; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Stoney Point Baptist Church in Soddy-Daisy with Pastor Edward Thrasher as the eulogist. Burial: Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery in Bakewell.Arrangements are by Taylor Funeral Home of Chattanooga Inc.
