Marjorie Gray

Marjorie Libby Gray, 94, lifelong resident of Red Bank, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012.She had been a member of White Oak United Methodist Church since 1947. Also, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Gray retired after 21 years of teaching second grade at Middle Valley Elementary School.She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Gray.Survivors include her son, Bobby (Carol) Gray, of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Linda Perkey, Pam Gray and April Boles; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Mary L. Crowe, of Mentone, Ala.; and niece, Jane Kerby, of Valley Head, Ala.Special thanks to the staff of Summit View for their wonderful care for our mother for the past nine years.Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev.
