Ray McAllisterWatson Ray McAllister, 71, of East Ridge, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012.Mr. McAllister was born in East Ridge and was a graduate of East Ridge High School. He retired from Rossville chemical company as a welder and was a Vietnam War Marine veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 95, East Ridge Masonic Lodge 755 F&AM, and the Alhambra Temple.Surviving are his Lady, Mildred Plemons; granddaughter, Veronique Hanson; and nephews, Sam and Mark McAllister.He was preceded in death by his parents, Watson and Estelle McAllister and brother, Dennis McAllister. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the funeral home.Graveside Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 95 or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.Please share your condolences at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S.
