HENDERSONVILLE Cole Parrott, 21, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 25, 2012.Cole was a gentle soul, with a smile that would light up a room. He was a genuine, kind, big-hearted, artistic, good listener, brother, son, and grandson. He was a 2010 graduate of Hendersonville High School and a member of the Hendersonville 2010 State Championship Soccer Team. He enjoyed anything and everything, but some of his favorite things were going to the lake, fishing, boating and camping with his granddaddy, music of all genres, sports, hunting and four-wheeling.He was a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ and a fine Christian young man that will be deeply missed by all.Survived by his mother, Beverly Parrott; father, Bill (Ann) Parrott; sisters, Hailey Parrott, Emily Ann Parrott, Ashley Bogle and Allison Bogle; grandparents, Murray (Liz) Brown, Pat (Bill) Walls, Annie Ray Sorrell and Paul M. Hicks; several extend family members and friends.A Life Celebration will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Hendersonville Church of Christ with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.Active pallbearers will be friends.Honorary pallbearers are The 2010 Hendersonville High School Soccer team, Drew Lewis, Drew Morgan, Seth Owens, Daniel Tucker, Richie Reichenberger, Whit Gray, Taylor Sorrell, Caleb Barrett, & Zach Gutzman.Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour prior the service on Friday.Memorial contributions may be made to the The Cole Parrott Memorial Fund at Volunteer State Bank.Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 Johnny Cash Parkway, Hendersonville, Tenn., 615-824-3855 www.hendersonvillefh.com.
