Franklin Pearson

Franklin Delano Pearson, 78, East Ridge, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 26, 2012.He was the son of the late Art and Ethel Tate Pearson. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Mr. Pearson was born in Tellico Plains and has lived in the Chattanooga area for more than 60 years. Mr. Pearson was retired from Combustion Engineering after more than 20 years of service and had been a member of Temple Baptist Church for more than 50 years where he attended the Fellowship Class.Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Wanda Sue Sisson Pearson; sons, Lamar (Belinda) Pearson, East Ridge and Marty (Janet) Pearson, Ooltewah; sister, Rosa Lee Oliver; brothers, Horace Dunn and Harrison "Rude" Dunn. Grandchildren, Sean ( Kayla) Pearson, Kristin Pearson, Urline (Gene) Crabtree, Beth Marthaler, Rachael Johnston and Charles (Heather) Cates; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Shad Smith and the Rev.
