Karl Yatooma

GUILD Karl Yatooma, 84, died at his residence on Friday, June 22, 2012.He was a graduate of Winona State College and was a retired teacher. He was a veteran of Army, serving in the Korean Conflict. He attended First Baptist Church, Fort Oglethorpe.He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Alexander Yatooma; brothers, John (Hanna) Yatooma, Norman (Naim) Yatooma; sister, Frances( Fahima) Yatooma.He is survived by his wife: Mackie Yatooma, Guild; children, Richard Karl Yatooma, Lancaster, Calif., Margaret Ann (Andy) Bogle, Brenham, Texas, Judith Marie (John D'Alessandro) Hynes, Troy, Michigan; Deborah Jean (Robert Savidge) Schermerhorn, Bethesda, Md., Lorraine Ann (Randy) Lievan, Chula Vista, Calif., Susan Lynn Martinez, Coral Springs, Fla., Ronald C. (Shannon) Yatooma, Rancho Cordoba, Calif., and Barbara Grace (Spencer) Yatooma-Jones, Algonac, Mich.; stepson, Robert (Holly) Randall, Fort Oglethorpe; and 15 grandchildren, Andrew and Thomas Bogle, Alyssa Hynes, Jon and Lauren Schermerhorn, Candice and Travis Kassab, Tyler and Victoria Martinez, Kellyn, Elyse and Mateo Yatooma; Austin and Autumn Jones and Ryan Randall.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share condolences with the family view the memorial tribute.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, at Fort Oglethorpe First Baptist Church with Jeffery Bush and Jack Smith officiating.
