Herbert Miller

Jr.Herbert H. Miller Jr., 88, of Charleston, W.Va., died Friday, June 15, 2012.He was the son of the late Dolphia and Herbert H. Miller Sr.He was member of First Presbyterian Church, Charleston, W.Va., where he was elder president of the men of the Church, Sunday School teacher and active in the Boys Scout for 15 years.Herbert is survived by his wife, Patricia Huffman Miller; son, Scott; and daughter, Leslie; twin sister, Jo Ruth Reel, Madline Baker and Francis Adkins; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Sparks of Atlanta; sisters-in-law, Virginia, Marie and Babara Miller of Chattanooga. A large number of loving nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Becky Bedoit, Della Lawrence, Ben, Dolph, Ralph and Harry Miller.A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday, July 2, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers the family request a donation be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 5 at First Presbyterian Church of Charleston, 16 Leon Sullivan Way, W.VA. 25301.
