Sheila Vaughn

ROSSVILLE Sheila Tinker Vaughn, 58, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at her home after losing her battle to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was employed with DCI for the past four years. Mrs Vaughn was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church Gateway Campus where she attended the Sloshing Out Jesus Class.Mrs. Vaughn was a very loving mother and kind person who never met a stranger she wouldnt help. Instead of focusing on her illness or problems, she always put everyone else first. Even on her bad days her faith never wavered and it was always in God's hands. She never complained even on her toughest days. She will be dearly missed A loss on Earth, but a gain in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brady Andrew and Anna Dell Waller Tinker; brother, Jackie Tinker; and a sister, Peggy Dotson.She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Frank Vaughn daughter, Mindy Tinker Harrison, of Rossville; son, Christopher Vaughn, of Rossville; stepson Harold Vaughn, of Jasper, Ga.; brothers Junior Tinker and Jimmy Tinker of Trenton; sisters, Virginia Coulter, of Ringgold and Alleen Hilton, of Chattanooga; two loving grandchildren, Taylor and Meghan Harrison.Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joseph Hardin officiating.There will be a reception for family and friends at the home of Gerald and Alleen Hilton after the service starting at 12:30 p.m.Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 811 W.
