Dorothy Freeman

ROSSVILLE Dorothy June Pendley Freeman, 78, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 22, 2012. She was a Christian and she loved God, her family and God's beauty on this earth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Pendley; parents, LoDean Flick and Joe Shepherd; brothers, Don and Ronnie Flick and son-in-law, Dale Savage. She is survived by her husband, Joe Freeman; her children, Sandy Savage, Robin Campbell and husband, David, Shane Pendley and wife, Denise; five stepchildren, Buddy Freeman, Debbie Wilson, Lisa Allen, Lamar Freeman and Stephen Freeman; grandchildren, Ashley Savage Gilliam, Andrew Savage, Joshua Campbell, Ty Pendley and Noah Pendley; sisters, Hazel Morrison, Joan Higdon and Sylvia Brooks; and brother, Eddie Flick; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a multitude of loving friends.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Gateway Baptist Church, 1004 Mack Smith Road. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and the body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the service on Sunday.
