Dorothy Patterson

Dorothy Sanders Patterson, 92, of Chattanooga passed away at her home, Wednesday, March 21, 2012. A native of Grundy County, she was a daughter of the late Grover Sanders and Emma Garner Sanders. Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Patterson and a son, Tronald M. Patterson. She attended Chapman's Chapel Church Of The Nazarene in Pelham. Survivors include her children, Jayne Riddle, Huntsville, Ala., Claude Milton Patterson Jr. and Helen Ruth Patterson, both of Chattanooga; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapman's Chapel Church Of The Nazarene with Rev. John Burge and Rev. Charles Knight officiating. Burial will be in Warren Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and Saturday noon -2 p.m. at the church.
