Harold "Tartan" Cox, 57, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Standifer Place Health Facility with his very loving and caring wife, Billie Jo, at his side. He has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior. One day we will all be together again. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cox; stepmother, Jo; stepfather, John Murray; sisters, Virginia "Tens" Walker and Kerry Austin. Tartan is survived by his wife, Billie Jo; daughter, Tera; mother, Barbara A. Murray; sisters, Kelly (Scott) Summey, Kim Short; nieces, Angela (Steve) Palmer, Whitney (Robbie) Pookie; nephews, David Walker Jr., Blake Brogdon and a host of special uncles, aunts and cousins.Special thanks to our brother-in-law that helped us so much and David Ray Walker Sr. and the wonderful staff at Standifer Place and Hospice of Chattanooga. We could not have made it without all of you. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel.Burial: Greenwood Cemetery.
