Willie Cochran

Willie Mae Cochran (Parker), 79, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 in a local hospital. She retired from First Presbyterian Church and was a member of Avondale Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Nellie Cochran; former husband, Edmond Parker; sisters, Hazel Ann Cochran and Mae Etta Fears. Survivors: sons, Dewayne Cochran, of Toledo, Ohio, Mark Parker, Vincent Parker, Terry Parker; daughter, Carolyn Parker-(David) Bins, all of Chattanooga; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur Cochran, Nathaniel Strait, both of Talladega, Ala. Alfred Cochran of Detroit, Mich.; sisters, Bessie Woods, of Chattanooga, Lucille (John) Jones, of Detroit, Mich.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state on Saturday after 9 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Brother Phillit Henderson as the eulogist. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery
