Fred Johnson Jr., former Tennessee State Representative, decorated war veteran, influential civic leader, successful businessman, distinguished church leader and beloved Sunday School teacher went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 8, 2012.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga with Dr. Gary Carver officiating.Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2012, in the Fellowship Hall of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.Complete arrangements will be announced by the Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, Valley View Chapel, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
