Jessie Lee Garrett, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012.She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Garrett was born in Whitwell, Tenn., to the late Jess and Mary Morrison. She retired from Brock Candy Co.She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Garrett; brothers, Elvester Morrison and Raymond Morrison; sisters, Violet Peoples, Mamie Templeton, Hallie Gentry and Juanita Richards.Survivors include her son, Larry Gravitt; daughter, Brenda (Ken) Livingston, of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Tonya (Todd) Holloway, of Houlka, Miss., Ashleigh (Casey) Cothron, of Chattanooga, Kimberly (Craig) Lovingood, of Atlanta, Tyler Livingston, of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Macy Holloway, of Houlka, Miss., Caimen and Madden Jane Cothron, of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends 4 -7 p.m. today, May 10, with a chapel service at 7:15 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace.A private graveside service will be Friday, May 11, 2012.
