Joseph Rowe

Joseph Henry Rowe, 79, of Chattanooga, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at his residence.He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from Tennessee Hotel Supply after 32 years.He was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Waller; father, Roy Rowe; son, Joseph Rowe Jr.; and daughter, Sharon Faye Rowe.Survivors include his wife, Clara Rowe; son, George Swinney; daughters, Jacqueline Rowe, Karen (Henry) McAllister and Stephanie (Cornell) Birdsong; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 10, at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Pastor Gerry Davis officiating.The body will lie in state after 1 p.m. today at Trammell Chapel, Hardwick & Sons Funeral Home.
