DECATUR George Burl Wilson, 82, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012.He was born in LaFayette, Ga. on Nov. 6, 1929. Mr. Wilson was of the Christian faith, a retired and decorated Veteran of the United States Navy where he served as a Boatman's Mate 1st Class with 30 years of honorable service.Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Emma Webb; and two grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.Online guestbook available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, LaFayette.
