Christina "Tina" Gene Harr, beloved wife and mother, departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, after a 13-year battle with cancer.She was a longtime resident of Signal Mountain and active member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.She was preceded in death by her parents. Thomas and Beverly Nolan of South Florida and her beloved son. David.Tina was a graduate of UCF, she came to Chattanooga in 1982 with the YMCA and after 32 years retired as an executive director of program development. She served on multiple boards in many different roles including Notre Dame High School, St. Augustine Church, Scenic City Optimist Club and Catholic charities. She actively volunteered at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank. Tina was an avid golfer and loved all outdoor activities.Family and friends were the greatest joys of her life and Tina never met a stranger.She is survived by her husband John; son, Chris and his wife, Brittany; brothers, Thomas and Todd Nolan; sisters, Teri Nolan and Toby Miles.A mass in celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at St. Augustine Catholic Church on Signal Mountain.Her remains will be interred at the St. Augustine Columbarium following the mass.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to, Notre Dame High School, the David Harr Scholarship Fund.Visit www.heritagefh.com to share words of comfort to the family.Arrangements by Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
