ROSSVILLE Virginia "June" Beard Thomas, 80, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012.She was retired from Rossville Yarn with 34 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed flowers, roses, bingo and spending time with her children and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lawrence Beard and Calvin T. Thomas; parents, Raymond and Edna Pevehouse; brother, Raymond Thomas Pevehouse.Survivors include her three sons, Tommy (Annette) Beard, Mark (Pam) Beard and Tim Beard; sister, Mildred Fricks; grandchildren, Courtney, Meagan and Morgan; special niece, Patricia Jeffery; five great-grandchildren; great-niece, Kelli Jeffery; and great-nephew, Chris Jeffery.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev.
