Edd Green

Edd Green, Jr., 65, of Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at his residence.He was the son of the late Edd and Sarah Green.Edd was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the 444th Transport Company and had served in Vietnam. He was the co-owner of C & E Auto Trim in Chattanooga.He was of the Baptist faith.Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9, in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.Survivors include his two sons, Jeff Green, Corey (Lori) Green, both of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; grandson, Seth Green; four sisters, Peggy Templeton, of Bella Vista, Ark., Karen Bean, of Cookeville, Tenn., Cynthia McClure, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Nancy Sobianek, of Doyle, Tenn.; two brothers, Steve Green, Russell Green, both of Chattanooga, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 4 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.Please share your thoughts and memories online at www.ChattanoogaEastBrainerdChapel.comArrangements by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, East Brainerd Chapel, 8214 East Brainerd Road.
