Farrish Adair

CHICKAMAUGA Farrish Lee "Bill" Adair, 74, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012. He was born in Rossville, Ga., to the late William Elijah and Leona Stewart Adair. He was a previous resident of Phoenix, Ariz., and has resided in Walker County, Ga., for the past thirty eight years. He retired from the Electrical Power Board of Chattanooga after thirty two years of service as an engineer. He was an active member of Chickamauga Church of Christ and was a volunteer with Harvest House Ministries through Rossville Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Sue Mullican Foster Adair, of Chickamauga; their children, Allen Adair of East Ridge, Tenn., Larry Foster, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Sherry Richards, of Knoxville, Tenn., Steve Adair, of Phoenix, Ariz., Joel Foster, of Chattanooga, Tenn., Donald Adair, of East Ridge, Tenn., Virginia Keys, of Ringgold, Ga.; sister, Wanda Clements, of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Chickamauga Church of Christ with the funeral service to follow with Minister Shane Robinson officiating.
