Zane Duran

RINGGOLD Zane Wallace Duran, 70, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Area and was a member of Calvary Life Pentecostal Church, Ooltewah. Zane was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who will be greatly missed.Zane was preceded in death by his parents, Clement and Sarah Goodwin Duran; son, Jeffery Lynn Duran; sister, Clarice Cartwright; and brother, Jimmy Duran.He is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Lorraine Duran; daughter, Lisa (Todd) Harris of Ringgold; siblings, Roy Duran of Decatur, Opal Shannon of Ooltewah and "Doc"Duran of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Courtney and Hunter; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Bob Willerson and Bro. Larry Burrows officiating. Interment will follow in Grasshopper Cemetery, Birchwood. The family will receive friends after 3 p.m. today and prior to the service on Thursday. Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
