Andrew Chubb

Andrew Jackson Chubb, 78, of Wildwood, Ga., passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his residence.He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was formerly employed by U.S. Pipe & Foundry. He was a member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and the musician.He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew J. Chubb Sr.; mother, Flossie Chubb Roberts; brothers, Jonas, Clarence, James and Jehu Chubb; sisters, Janie Mason and Mary Kate Lollis.Survivors include his wife, Dorris Chubb; sons, Cedric (Vanessa) Chubb, Stonney (Trinia) Chubb and Randall (Lori) Chubb; daughter, Jennifer (John) Ryals, all of Chattanooga; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Ricky Chubb, of Chicago, Ill., and Quillin Chubb, of Las Vegas, Nev.; devoted sisters-in-law, Imogene Chubb, Betty Pollock and Carol Sutton; devoted family members and friends, Joey Chubb, Virginia Owens, Erica Owens, Thomas Jacoway, Jerri Kinamore, Veronica Chubb and Deborah Hart; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.Visitation is from 7-8 p.m. today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Wildwood, Ga., with Pastor Larry Owens as the eulogist.Burial: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
